IS HEALING FOR TODAY?
Do you know that it is God’s will to heal you? There are many people even some Christians today who are suffering unnecessarily whether it be in their physical bodies or in their minds. They may have been told there is no cure for their illness and will have to live with it for the rest of their lives. Or they may be suffering mentally whether it be depression, or some mental illness. Some Christians are in churches who have been told that healing is not for today and it passed away with the Apostles. As a result they are living in bondage because they have accepted this teaching.
Well the bible says: Jesus Christ the same, yesterday, and today and forever (Hebrews 13:8) - KJV. This means that God was healing in the past, he is healing in the present and he will still be healing in the future. Some of you may be asking, “Is it God’s will to heal me?” Well there is a scripture written in Malachi which says: For I am the Lord, I do not change… (Malachi 3:6) – AMP, and we see from the life of Jesus when he was here on this earth as written in Acts 10:38 that he went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil… So the answer is yes, it is most definitely God’s will to heal you. It is not his will to see his people sick. He provided healing for the people of
God wants his people to build his Kingdom and carry out his work upon this earth to see his Kingdom expanded. How can we do this if we are sick in our bodies, unable to work for the Kingdom because we are riddled with some form some disease or sickness which makes us incapacitated or bound up in hospital. This would not make sense would it? And the bible says that God is perfectly just and fair, therefore he could not expect us to carry out his work on this earth if we had to suffer sickness and disease. No, he has provided an antidote, a cure for all sickness no matter what it is whether it be mentally or physically. Jesus is the healer today. He took every one of your illnesses when he went to the cross of
No Fear of Bad News
We have recently been told about the Swine Flu which has come into the earth and has stricken many people. It has also been reported that it will turn into a pandemic. But if you are Christian you have no need to fear of this bad news. You can claim the promises of God for your healing, and also be protected against Swine flu, Bird flu or whatever sickness is going around in the earth today. The following scriptures have brought me healing in my body as I have meditated on them and took them just like I would take medicine in the natural. I have seen abnormal lumps completely removed from my body as well as bring my pregnancy to its full-term even after the doctor said I could suffer a miscarriage because of fibroids in my womb. Click here for baby testimony)
The word of God truly works. If you would like to receive your healing, meditate on the following scriptures, take them as you would medication. Sit yourself in a quiet room, have yourself a coffee and read them quietly to yourself. Receive them into the place where you are having pain or discomfort and say: “Lord I receive your word as medicine to my back, to my head, or wherever your illness is. Lord I receive your word to heal me now in Jesus name.” Just receive your healing by faith and watch the word of God heal you.
Prayer of Salvation
If you don’t know Jesus and you want to be saved, invite him into your life now, Just say this prayer: “Lord Jesus, I thank you that you died on the cross and rose again for me, forgive me of my selfish way of living. I choose you today and ask you to come into my life and be my Lord and Saviour.” If you said that prayer and meant it from your heart, you have passed from death to life. You must now give up your own way of living and trust Jesus in every area of your life. Ask the Lord to lead you to a good bible believing church.
May the Lord bless you.
HEALING SCRIPTURES
Exodus 15:26; Leviticus 17:11; Psalms 23:3; Psalms 91:5, 6,7, 10, 11, 16; Psalms 103:2, 3, 4, 17; Psalms 107:20; Isaiah 53:3-5; Proverbs 4:20-22; Jeremiah 17:14; Jeremiah 30:17; Malachi 4:2; Matthew 8:16, 17; Matthew 21:21; Mark 9:23; Mark 11:23-24; Mark 16:17-18; Luke 6:18-19; Romans 4:20-21; 2 Corinthians 5:7; Hebrews 11:6; Hebrews 13:8, James 5:14, 15; 1 Peter 2:24; 3 John 2; Revelation 22:2
OVERCOMING FEAR
Many of us don’t receive answers to prayer because we are operating in fear. Fear can be defined as the reciprocal of faith. If you are in fear your faith will not work. If you are doing all the right things, meditating on the scriptures for healing, deliverance and whatever else you are believing God for, but are just not seeing the manifestation, this could be because you are operating under the spirit of fear.
It can come in the form of anxiety, or fear of what people may think of us if we do what God has told us to do. These are just some examples of the subtle way fear operates in our lives without us even realising it. This also means you will not be able to hear the voice of God. Some people do not realise this. It stops the power of God from operating in our lives when we live in fear.
The bible says that Fear has torment – when you are in constant fear it attracts the demonic realm.
… fear hath torment . He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
1 John 4:18
Unforgiveable Sin
There are some people who believe they have committed the unforgiveable sin and end up in a mental institution. Why is this? It is because they attract demons when they think this, who block the voice of the Lord making them think that he has actually left them when he hasn’t. The bible says:
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:
Proverbs 23:7
Demons also create the feelings that God has left them. This is not the case because the bible says he will never leave us nor forsake us: (Hebrews 13:5)
and, lo , I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Matthew 8:20
State of
You can also be a Christian who fears the Lord but are living in a constant state of fear. This could be fear that you may lose your salvation or even fear that you will not make it to heaven. The fear of the Lord is the right way to live, but we are not to be driven to serve God through fear that he is going to leave us. We are to serve God with a confident faith in him. The just shall live by faith and not fear. As Christians we are supposed be living with a positive expectation everyday.
The bible says:
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Philippians 1:6
Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
1 Peter 4:19
We are to live in confidence by faith in Jesus Christ, not by fear.
as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Romans 1:17
In order to live successful lives we must meditate on God’s precious promises he has for us for every area of our lives, daily instead of what the devil is feeding our minds. This will push out the demonic realm causing us to be victorious and positive. Enabling God to bring answers to our prayers and give us the blessings he has for us.
DELIVERANCE
Today I want to talk to you about deliverance. Can a Christian be oppressed by demons some of you may ask? The answer is yes. A Christian can be demonically oppressed but not possessed because their spirit is possessed of God the Holy Spirit once they became born-again. Are you living a life of defeat? Any part of your life where you are not victorious means the devil is operating in your life. Jesus came to give you life and that you might have it more abundantly. John 10:10
When Jesus came to this earth as a man he went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil. Act
18Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to
Jesus has given authority to all Christians:
AND Jesus summoned to Him His twelve disciples and gave them power and authority over unclean spirits, to drive them out… Matthew 10:1
He gave them authority to cast out devils and to heal the sick. This means if you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour you too can experience victory and freedom from all oppression and also help others to be set free. It is not just for pastors, or leaders to do, but for all Christians.
Are you sick, broke, depressed, jobless… The devil is stealing the victorious life from you my friend. You need to seek God in prayer and ask the Holy spirit to show you the areas where the devil is hindering your life. You need to recognise that Jesus has given you authority over the devil and that he has been totally defeated:
[God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross]. Colossians
You will need to be totally submitted to God and walk in the knowledge of the truth of your authority.
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7
Remember when you start resisting the devil he will counterattack you. This means that if you are believing God for finances, you may get more into debt or if you are believing God for healing you may experience even more sickness, this is called a counterattack. The devil wants to make you think that your prayers and confessions are not working. Just keep standing on the word of God and confess God’s promises for the areas of your life you are having problems in and you will come out in victory. Take the scriptures that pertain to your circumstances in front of your eyes and make them personal to yourself for example. …by his stripes you are healed… Isaiah 53:5 say it like “this by his stripes I am healed”. If negative circumstances hit you, just keep looking at the word and confessing, and believing God.
Pray this prayer:
Lord Jesus I thank you for the authority you have given to me to cast out devils, I now exercise that authority you have given me. I command you Satan to get out of my life (name the area your are having problems) I order you to leave my finances, leave my body, and leave my family …. I speak deliverance and prosperity to my body and finances, in the Name of Jesus.
Remember that the name of Jesus is above all names. It is above demons, sickness, poverty, lack and everything else. No matter what name it has, everything on this earth has to submit to the name of Jesus no matter how long it has been there. Nothing is impossible with God.
9Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth. Colossians 2:9-10
Once you have prayed that prayer and have believed God with all your heart, you will come out in victory. God’s word never fails.

THE GOODNESS OF GOD
The phrase “God is good all the time, all the time God is good” is repeated by many Christians like a catch phrase. But how many of us really believe it. So Many Christians fall away from Christ because they have had a hard time in their lives or it seems to them that God hasn’t answered their prayers.
When we come to a point when we feel that God is not answering our prayers, we must remember that the problems is never with God it is always with us.
The bible shows us that God’s nature is good.
The LORD is good to all, And His mercies are over all His works.
Psalms 145:9
The Lord Sustains all all who fall And raises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to You, And You give them their food in due time. You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing. The LORD is righteous in all His ways And kind in all His deeds. The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them..
Psalms 145:14-19
God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good.
Genesis 1:31
Praise the LORD! Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
Psalms 106:1
Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, For His loving kindness is everlasting.
Psalms 107:1 ff
God’s nature can only be good he is the definition of what is Good and it is impossible the cab be anything else. Just like you know 2 + 2 = 4. Nobody can tell you 2 + 2 = 5 can they? If someone told you that, you would think that something was wrong with them. Because you know that statement is not true. It is the same with God’s nature. He can be nothing else but good and it is impossible for him to be bad or evil in his character.
In the beginning when God made Adam and Eve, he gave them then best. He put them in a beautiful Garden, with the finest food to heat. They did not want for anything. But the serpent came to Eve and planted lies in her heart which she received and believed and doubted whether God really was good to her and had her best interest at heart.
For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing the difference between good and evil and blessing and calamity. (Gen. 3:5 AMP). The serpent who was Satan, tried to make her believe that God was withholding some thing from her even though he had given her and her husband everything.
Genesis 3:5 AMP
28And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth.
29And God said, See, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the land and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food.
30And to all the animals on the earth and to every bird of the air and to everything that creeps on the ground—to everything in which there is the breath of life—I have given every green plant for food. And it was so.
Genesis 1:28-30
How many of us believe the lies of Satan rather than God who is truth. The bible says that Satan is the father of lies, and that it is impossible for God to lie. Do you feel that God isn’t answering your prayers? Are you tempted to doubt His goodness?
When I feel this way I have to remind myself that my circumstances are not because God is not answering my prayers. The problem lies with me. Either I have transgressed his commandments in some way or am in doubt about his promises he has for me. The truth of the matter is God loves us.
16For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.
John 3:16
There is scripture after scripture of his goodness how he delivered his people from bondage even though they were disobedient. But because of his grace and mercy he rescued them (See Psalms 107). He sent his only Son Jesus to die for you and me on the cross even before we came to know him. This is showing his goodness and love towards us. We cannot rely upon our feelings. Do you know God gets upset when we believe the lies of the devil about him that he is not good. He has sacrificed so much for us. DO NOT BELIEVE THE LIES OF THE DEVIL THAT GOD IS NOT GOOD. The devil cannot give you anything good, anything he gives you will only lead to destruction. God loves you so much and has a plan for your life for good.
For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.
Jeremiah 29:11
We must rely upon God’s word in the promises he has given to us. As we make a decision to trust him and refuse the lies that the enemy brings to our minds, we build up confidence that he really is good.
FORGIVENESS
What does it mean to forgive the biblical way? How many of us pray to God about situations in our lives but find our prayers are not answered. This does not mean that God does not want to answer our prayers. No. There are conditions we have to fulfil to get our prayers answered. One of them is to walk in the love of God.
The bible says that God is love. We are his creatures made in his image. We therefore are to also walk in love just has He does. You may say “But I can’t…”. The bible says :
5And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
Romans 5:5 (NIV)
The love of God was put within our hearts the moment we were Born-Again. It is up to us to exercise that love and walk in it. To do this you have to walk in love towards others by the power of the Holy Spirit, even if you don’t feel like doing it. You must do it anyway and the feelings will come afterwards. Faith works by love, your faith will not work without it.
If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, "Love your neighbor as yourself, you are doing right”
James 2:8
One thing is certain, God sees everything in our hearts, and our prayers cannot be answered with any unforgiving attitudes that we hold against others. If you notice in the 25th Chapter of Mark, God commands us to forgive anything we are holding against anyone, it may be that someone has done you something wrong and you are holding a grudge against them.
25And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and [a]let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop.
Mark
If you choose not to forgive, God will hand you over to the tormentors as in the parable in Matthew 18:33-34
33Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellow servant, even as I had pity on thee?
34And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
Mathew 18:33-34
You must come to God with your heart totally free from any negative attitudes. To do this say: “Lord I confess my sin of unforgiveness against [NAME THE PERSON] I choose to forgive them by faith as I know that I am not perfect and want you to also forgive me of my sins. I choose to drop this matter of [NAME THE MATTER] and let it go. I ask you to bless [NAME THE PERSON AGAIN] in Jesus Name Amen.”
When you give yourself over to unforgiveness towards others who have hurt you, this gives the devil a foothold in your life. But when you choose to forgive them it helps to keep your heart right before the Lord. This does not mean that they have got away with their wrongdoing. You are to commit your souls unto God who is your vindicator.
19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,”[a] says the Lord.
Romans 12:19
He will pay your debts for you. You do not have to take vengeance on others.
God wants to bless you so much. He has said in the chapter of Mark 11:23‑25 (AMP) how to go to Him in faith and ask for what you require.
23Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.
24For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].
When you became a Christian you became a child of God. God is love you therefore are able to love people unconditionally as he does which is the God Kind of love. Make a decision to walk in this love now and see what God will do for you.
