“A Sermon to Agnostics and Atheists” is a booklet and video produced by Austin Baxter.  The sermon is taken from a passage of scripture in the New Testament, Romans 1:18-21, where God informs us that He has placed the knowledge of His existence in all men and in creation, but men choose to suppress and hinder this knowledge of God. Austin presents to agnostics and atheists what God says in the Bible about their unbelief before Him. He expounds Romans 1; 18-21 which teaches that men deliberately suppress the knowledge of God they possess, not because of intellectual reasons, but for moral reasons.

The Bible clearly teaches that God has given mankind ample evidence that he exists and that all men have an innate knowledge of God. When you listen to agnostics and atheists, you can be fooled into thinking that they really do not know that God exists. Yet God informs us in  His Word that they all men have a knowledge of Him, but choose to suppress this knowledge and replace it with other beliefs, philosophies and ideas (Romans 1:18-21).  As Christians we must believe what the Bible says about the true nature and condition of unbelievers and understand the psychological process they use upon themselves to suppress the knowledge of God within them. Only God the creator of all men truly knows the conditions of the hearts of all men, believers and unbelievers, and only His word is the able to discern the thoughts and motivations of the human heart (Hebrews 4:12). God’s Word the Bible is written to all men, and speaks to all men of every age and persuasion; it is his voice to mankind. In this sermon, Austin Baxter challenges agnostics and atheists to stop resisting the knowledge God has placed within them and to acknowledge the God who is speaking to them through their conscience, consciousness,  intellect and through the creation He has made.
